--------- News of the Peoples War in Peru
Due to the amount of actions, it is impossible to report all of them. There have been several hundred this year so far.

There has been little reports of the Peoples War recently in the Reactionary Press. Either the PCP has
halted activity to reorganize or move, or the Army decided not to release any more reports, fearing a raise in revolutionary morale, and a drop in that of reaction.

August 7
In either an act of plain stupidly or an honest attempt to lie to the people, the armed forces have changed the story for a third time about the ambush that killed 8 combatants. The first said they hit a land mine, and were shot at. The second said they were eating lunch, nearly helpless. Now they say the had mutilated the soldiers with knives and machetes. There were 8 killed, 7 wounded, out of a 30 man patrol. This wound be impossible. If it is true, it means that PCP has the ability to attack! thirty people with knifes, kill or wound half of tem, and not take any casualties. This is impossible. What the hell is wrong with these idiots? They think the people will buy anything. (no pun intended)

August 2
According to the Old State, Chairman Gonzalo has initiated a hunger strike to protest his isolation. SPS thinks this may be a plan to starve him. He and the MRTA leader were recently reisolated to try to put down the rebellions in the countryside. good luck.

August 2
The Old State announced the formation of 18 new counter insurgency bases.

August 1
In Huancavelica, EPL members met with various towns. The army was looking for them, but they don't really do anything.

July 30
PCP members incurred into Cuzco villag! es and made paintings. It was mentioned in the reactionary press that they made no sort of threats to any of the People. Reaction has hidden its head up its ass.

July 30
Senderistas incurred into several villages in La libertad. An analogist said this signals a greater plan of Sendero. It was believed that they only existed in the central mountains and jungle. They were wrong.

July 29
PCP guerrillas incurred into several villages in Huancavelica.

July 28
In Ayacucho, PCP rebels fired on a reactionary helicopter, and nearly killed the counter subversive chief of the area. The PCP is heavily armed with high powered machine guns. The helicopter was damaged, but no immediate reports of casualties. In the Department of La Libertad, the was a bombing at the door fo an administrator. No one was hurt. Guerrillas walked up to the door,! put dynamite on it, and blasted it. Painting were drawn on the building.

July 27
The puppet Toledo has prolonged the state of emergency in Ayacucho, Junin, Apurimac, and various parts of Cuzco.

July 24
The old state has detected more subversives in various universities in the country. The University of Agriculture, Ucayali, Huanuco, Ayacucho, Juliaca, and Cerro de Pasco, among others, have all been affected by rebel agents. The state does not know what to do about this, for they cannot identify the individuals.

July 24 once again,
In Uchiza, 40 heavily armed men took the Bank of the Nacion, leaving with 1 million sols, about 350,000$ US. It is not clear at this time if these peoples were Reds or just criminals, but this area of the Upper Huallaga is highly affected by the PCP.

July 23
In a village in Santa Cruz de Chuca, in the province of Santiago de Chuco, thirty guerrillas, all armed with AKM's, made an incursion. They burned the records office, all the files, and smacked the shit out of the civil administrator. They usually don't do this anymore, but this guy had it coming to him. The mayor had fled the town. This was just hours after three Red Combatants were captured by the Old State.

July 23 elsewhere
5 PCP combatants incurred on a government geological site in Ayacucho to get material. The owners fought back, and one was killed. The other was taken to a hospital. The Reds left with money, 2 walkie talkies, a transistor radio, 2 satellite phones, long distance binoculars, 2 computers and a truck.

July 17
As of this day this year there have been 59 reported Sendero incursions in the province of Satipo, department of Junin. Thats not much bigger than Rhode Island. There have been more PCP actions carried out so far this year than in 1980, the year the Peoples War was initiated. The government once again appears incapable of containing the Revolution.

July 11
A Sendero column ambushed a group of reactionaries near the Apurimac river, killing at least five soldiers, some reports say six, including one captain, and two ronderos. 15 members of the 30 man patrol were wounded in the ambush. The were no Revolutionaries hurt. There Old State flew in reinforcements, but all in vain, as usual. This was the heaviest casualties the Old State has suffered in 4 years. All the reactionary press is stating the obvious rise in the boldness of the attacks.

July 1
Huran Marco, Chinchero, Apurimac, 15 Senderistas made an incursion. The police station and its materials were seized.

June 30
In Antasco, Chincheros, Apurimac, a column of guerrillas incurred on the town. There was a short gunfight with the police. The police the fled taking what they could of the armament. The PCP fighters then helped themselves to some new weaponry. The front page of the newspaper Correo stated "Police flee from Sendero."

June 30 elsewhere
A group of about 20 PCP fighters stopped 5 buses on the Central highway, in the heights of Carpish. The vicepresident of the region and his cronies were on board. They were deprived of their physical possesions at the time, but not of their life. This is part of what the media calls the "new strategy." They don't need to killed officials of the old state, they just make them powerless.

June 29
In Uchiza, Alta Huallaga, in an institute of technology, 30 guerrillas incurred. The school was nicely painted, as well as the students and townspeople left better politically educated.

June 27
Incusions in Agua Blanca, Huanuco. There have been several in the past week. It took the armed forces 4 days to arrive. This is quite typical.

June 25
Sendero guerrillas ambushed a column of the Old State enforcers, killing one, and in another attack wounded two. There were no PCP casualties.

June 11
A rondero was shot and killed in a gunfight in Apurimac.

June 9
71 workers from the Argentine gas mining company Technint were taken from the site in Apurimac. 1500 sticks of explosive were taken as well. The press reports that a one million dollar ransom was demanded. Regardless, the workers were released 36 hours later unharmed. Some former detainees report that a ransom was paid, others say they were released. The army claims to have rescued them, but all other sources discredit this. SPS thinks it was probably a propaganda work, as well as getting corporate explosives in the hands of the Revolution.

AS YOU CAN SEE THEY THINK ALL THESE ACTS THAT THEY WRITE ABOUT IS OK. THE REPORTS OF KILLINGS IS WHAT THEY THE TERRORISTS ARE WRITING IN ARTICLES THAT THEY ARE DOING SUCH AS THIS ONE

I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET WHILE DOING A SEARCH ON PERU.

PLEASE BE IN PRAYER FOR THIS COUNTRY
